Mediation for Children During Divorce

Parents often find that mediation is preferable for their children over litigation. What parents try and remember is that what’s best for the child is most important when determining parent custody. In the end it’s the parents who make the ultimate decisions but considering your children is pertinent.

For best information regarding your child’s feelings you have a couple options.

1) One on one between the mediator and the child.

2) Interview between a therapist and child instead of overwhelming the child by having multiple people in the room during questioning.
